Developed from extensive experimental work with various niche video mixing programs, Ether is a project that delves into the nature of nature, drawing parallels and diffractions between digital and physical material. Time becomes a unremovable aspect to the process of making. Footage of static, noise and bodies of water were used as solvents to mix into various common digital environments, inluding the ‘screensaver’, selfies, and candid photo-album memories otherwise forgotten.
